The brown butter gives off a mild nutty, caramel-like taste while the lemon zest adds just a wee hint of acidity. Baked with a quality EU brand butter, our recipe includes freshly batch-produced buttermilk to ensure a good balance of moisture and butter in the cake.

This cake is for the tea or coffee connoisser as its flavour profile is gentle and will not overpower the notes in your perfect cuppa.
