As usual our recipe calls for a premium UK brand butter and freshly-produced buttermilk to ensure the desired level of moisture in the cake. Although we've reduced the sugar in our recipe, the "cinnamon roll" flavour note is still very much there, so go ahead and have a second slice!
This cake keeps for a week in the refrigerator and can be refreshed in the microwave for 20~30 seconds on a low to medium setting.
